Нет нужды говорить (needless to say), что после каждого раздела грамматики надо потренироваться . Начинаем с простого, чтобы глаз, так сказать (so to say), привык к обороту в английских текстах, другими словами переходим от правил и примеров к предложениям. Я напишу несколько предложений, которые надо поставить в отрицательную (-) и вопросительные (?) формы. Само собой их надо перевести. Можно делать это устно, можно письменно — кому как удобнее. Но даже если вы все поняли, и вам все предельно ясно, не факт, что в устной ( или в письменной речи вы сразу же среагируете в нужной “тональности”. Поэтому тренируемся, тренируемся и еще раз тренируемся.
Поставьте следующие предложения в (-) и (?), обращая особое внимание на те предложения, в которых есть оборот “ to be going to …”. Помните о разных вариантах оборота.
Приведу пример. как надо выполнять упражнение.
(+) The pupils are writing a dictation now and then they are going to do exercises.
(-) The pupils aren’t writing a dictation now and then they aren’t going to do exercises.
(?) Are the pupils writing a dictation now and then are they going to do exercises?
1. He is going to work at school next year.
2. His son is going to learn English and German next term.
3. I am going to write to my friend tonight.
4. This question is difficult. We are going to discuss it later.
5. My mother is going to speak to him about this problem on Sunday morning.
6. I often meet this engineer here. He is going to work with us next week.
7. Ann is going to punish her son. He doesn’t obey her.
8. We are going to help our mother tonight. She is going to paint the roof of her house.
9. The director is busy at the moment. In an hour he is going to answer all your questions.
10. My brother is preparing for an English exam now. Don’t bother him. He is going to take the exam on Monday.
11. My friend is moving in a new house. He is going to sell his old flat.
12. She is coming back by 8 o’clock.
13. His wife is going to bake an apple pie this evening. Her parents are coming to see her.
14. The children are going to play football tomorrow afternoon.
15. He is going to travel round the world.
16. I am going to phone Tom after lunch.
17. My sister is going to the party tonight. She is going to have a good time.
18. Tom is going to buy a new car.
19. He is going to send these letters tomorrow morning.
20. We are leaving next month.
