Продолжаем тренировки по условным и временным предложениям по среднему уровню. Средний уровень всегда предполагает достаточно прочные знания, я бы сказала устоявшиеся по данному разделу грамматики. Цель остается одна — добиться беглости в устной и письменной речи. Но здесь надо уже немного поразмыслить, прежде чем выполнить задание. Сначала такое обдумывание  занимает некоторое время, но тренировками можно добиться автоматизма ( к чему мы и стремимся); Что такое выборочный перевод — я уже рассказывала.

В следующих предложениях надо перевести только глаголы в нужном времени. Мы подбираемся к настоящей работе — это прямому переводу. Рядом я напишу ответы в квадратных скобках, чтобы вы могли себя проверить.

1. Look at those black clouds ! It’s going to rain. I advise you  to take an umbrella.  If (пойдет дождь), you (промокнешь).                            [ it rains; will get wet;]

2. He hurt my feelings yesterday. I (не буду разговаривать) to him until he (не извинится) to me.                                                 [shan’t speak; apologizes]

3. We are going for a walk after dinner. I (возьму ) my camera in case I (захочу сделать) some photographs.                                                 [ shall take; take]

4. Ann knows English badly. She (не сможет понять ) you unless you (не будешь говорить) very slowly.                                [ won’t be able to understand; speak]

5. I want to make an appointment with you for tomorrow. If it (будет удобно ), ( давай встретимся ) at twelve o’clock.                       [ is convenient; let’s meet]

6. Henry doesn’t trust anyone. I am sure he ( не одолжит)you any money unless you  ( не пообещаешь) in writing to pay him back.                       [ won’t lend; promise]

7. When I (выучу ) a thousand English words, I (смогу читать) a newspaper? [ learn; will I be able to read]

8. Hurry up! If the dinner ( не будет готов), my father ( будет сердиться). [ isn’t ready; will be angry]

9. We have fitted a burglar alarm to the house. The alarm (будет звонить) in case somebody (будет пытаться забраться) into house.             [will ring; tries to break]

10. You have got a cold. You (придется остаться в постели ) in bed until you (избавишься) that cough.                                       [ will have to stay; get rid of]

11. What you ( будешь делать) if he ( найдет) these letters? Will you be able to explain to him everything?                                                       [will you do; finds]

12. The weather is wonderful, isn’t it? As soon as you (будешь готов) we (пойдем гулять).                                                              [are ready; shall go for a walk]

13. You (придется подождать) until my husband (не придет). When he (вернется) he (расскажет) you everything.             [ will have to wait; comes; returns; will tell]

14. It is old outside. John ( придется купить) a thick coat if the weather ( будет холоднее).                                                              [ will have to buy; is colder]

16. I (буду готова) before you (посчитаешь) ten.               [ shall be ready; count]

17. Will you throw that little box over there to me, please? Don’t be afraid. Nothing (не случится) even if it (упадет) down the floor.                         [will happen;falls]

18. I (придется остаться) here until  ( у меня не будет) all the information I need for my new book.                                                           [ shall have to stay; I have]

19. You ( успеешь ) the ten train if you ( возьмешь ) a taxi.            [will catch;take]

20. I ( собираюсь уехать) for a few days. When I ( вернусь) I ( позвоню) you.

21. Give me a pencil, please. I (запишу) his address and number of telephone in case I (забуду) them.                                                        [ shall write down; forget]

22. Unless the weather (не переменится), we (не поедем) to the country.      [changes; shan’t go]

23. Don’t worry. If you (будешь занята) I ( улажу) everything myself.                  [are busy; shall arrange]

24. Stay here. As soon as we ( примем ) our decision we ( известим) you.        [make; shall inform]

26. Unless you ( не обращать ) any notice of warnings , you ( попадешь) into trouble.                                                                               [take; will get]

28.  At the travel bureau they (скажут) you exactly when the train (отправляется). [will tell; leave]

29. I hope you (не будете возражать) If I (сделаю) this work tomorrow morning. [won’t mind; do]

30. I don’t think I (смогу зайти)  them and (попрощаться ) before I (поеду) abroad. [ shall be able to call on; say good-bye; go]

31. If anybody ( опоздает) we ( не будем ждать). Everybody must come in time. [ is late; shan’t wait]

32. When I (поеду ) to London I (остановлюсь ) at my friend’s. [ go; shall stay]

33. I (буду рад ) if you (пригласишь) anybody else to join us. [ shall be glad; invite]

34. If you (не найдешь ) anybody at home when you (вернешься) you (придется подождать) for me. [don’t find; come back; will have to wait]

35. Where are you going? — I am going to the nearest shop.  I (собираюсь купить) a cake in case my granny (придет). [ am going to buy; comes]
